My name is Cesar Gonzalez. I am originally from Spain where I grew up and earned my degree in English Philology. I love to travel and to know about other cultures and I have traveled to many different countries such as Ireland, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Portugal, Canada and the US.
I see the teaching of Spanish as an opportunity to put in practice my global experience in order to motivate the children in the learning of the language.
Having fun is very important when learning, that's why in my classes you will often see and hear music, singing, dancing and games.
I have been teaching Spanish in Raleigh, NC(Green Leadesrship and World Languages Elementary School)for five years. After that, I moved to Harrisonburg, VA, where I taught 8th grade Civics and Economics in Spanish, in the Dual program at Skyline Middle School.
Back in North Carolina, I currently teach Spanish for Heritage Speakers in Riverside High School, Durham (9-12 grades).
I am very happy and proud to be part of a school that promotes global education that will help develop global citizens!
